Geez, I thought you said this was supposed to be around 10,000 B.C.

Athens wasn't a significant city until like 1,500 B.C. Maybe you could push it and say historians have it wrong and it was a large settlement much earlier than they think, but pushing it back to 10,000 B.C. (right at the end of the last Ice Age, still prior to the Neolithic "Stone Age") is really pushing it. 10,000 B.C. is like... Robert E. Howard's Hyborian Age.

I'm not saying we need to proceed differently. I'm just sayin.
