Ideas for the Valley Carvan

Here's some ideas that interest me for an excursion through the San Luis Valley. I will do further investigating. Please give input.

Good Mexican food Alamosa
Milagros Coffee Shop Alamosa
Fernandez Market for chili supplies
Visit the old family homestead location on Monte Vista Road, East Alamosa

Sacred Heart Catholic Church Alamosa built 1922

Cordova Chapel Trinidad, CO (can we get in?)

Walk downtown Trinidad meet some Cordova relations? A Cordova runs a BBQ place

Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge?

Visit LaSauses. Tour by Joe Marquez and/or Delores Valdez Depong (author of Life in Los Sauces). Tour of the ancestral church St. Antonio dePadua.

View/learn from a local about the aquacitas and ditch irrigation system of our ancestors.

Wildest dreams: travel on to Cordova NM and the Taos area and Rio Arriba County where many ancestors are from.
