Welcome to the forum, Marla. It's great that you've got a good doctor who is working with you. I don't know where I'd be without my team of doctors. I am overly sensitive to medication and couldn't take Tramadol but I know it works for some people. What might work for one of us may not work for another, but it's good to share experiences and give one another support. Do you still work? I never thought that FM would take away my ability to work but I have been unable to work for an entire year and it looks like I won't be able to go back. When I was searching for a support group in my community, I googled chronic pain support and found a great group. Maybe you could try that. Anyway, I can't type too much because I'm in too much pain but I wanted to say hi and welcome to our group. -Amy
