Hi Amy, thank you for your post. I'm so sad to hear you're can't work, but I understand that happens to a LOT of fm sufferers. I'm scared to death of not being able to keep up the pace I am at now....my doctor says probably half of my pain is anxiety related due to fear of pain/having to slow down. I do work almost full-time, I love my job (I work for a chiropractor who's been helping me immensely), and I'm always on the go - trying to get exercise in (but limited due to fm) and constantly cleaning (a little OCD)... so that's why I'm so thankful for the tramadol, cuz it not only helps me with my pain, but also gives me a little energy boost too! My doctor has now included valium in my treatment due to anxiety over pain/being inhibited. I will try googling chronic pain support groups, thanks for the tip and God bless, I'll be praying for you. Marla
