FaithI was clear that I am not interested in gamesThu Feb 10, 2011 11:36am188.8.131.52I also did not say i didn't have the time, I said that it would take the kind of time that I wasn't willing to give--for obvious reasons. The bottom line Robert, is that rebirth is not the result of scholarly study...clearly. I also never admitted that my research was limited to Scripture just alikes--whatever that means. I said that I studied alot on other faith..and in fact read much of my material from things posted here over my 12 years. It would actually be impossible for me to recall or find all of those sources. What I have kept--would certainly not register well with you. I find that only Christian scholars can understand and satisfaftorily explain the Bible. You, on the other hand..like non-Christian interpretations. So--we are at odds. That's why I won't play the game. I am not willing to put in the time because you will not appreciate it or bother to learn from it.
I nevber fessed up to anything and your claim that i did is what is dishonest. I am not painted into any corner Robert..that is completely laughable. You think all your secular scholar stuff can withstand a true test? It can't. The sad thing is that you will never get it.
And as far as sending our debate to some outside so-called scholar...you would need to have saved the debates--I did not--and it would depend on who you wanted to send it to. This is just you blowing smoke.
- Zero need to claim Robert , Thu Feb 10 11:19amanything of the sort. The only need here is one of intellectual honesty. You claimed a multifaceted "journey" of study etc. was the source of your assurances/confidence. I challenged you to share... more
