Robertwho indeedSat Feb 12, 2011 5:56am22.214.171.124"those who are standing before me". Tell us how you reconcile saying in one breath that the Bible speaks in plain language yet when faced with a conundrum you abandon such by pulling the context card. Tell us Faith how the word "generation" is used immediately before and immediately after it's use that I referenced---focus on it's context. THE generation in question is the one Jesus is urging to quickly go and prepare for the soon to come Kingdom on earth----not a generation or Kingdom some 2000+ years in the future (otherwise, why be in such a hurry?).
I do agree with you however on the importance of context in Scripture, particularly historical context. Imo, it would serve you well to remember such in our past and future debates.
- context is everything... Faith, Fri Feb 11 7:44pmYou completely miss just "who" this generation really is.... Too bad for you : (
