The media will always focus on property damage. We see that during demostratios here, even if most of the people are not violent and dmage nothing, the media will focus on any violence that they can find.

As for property damage, considering the numbers of people and how long the demostration lasted the damage was minimal. How many areas in the world would most of the city gone up in smoke with such a demonstration.

Most of the demostration remained calm. Violence mostly starts when the paid government thugs started attacking people. That and then there will always be the criminals that will take advantage of any disorder.
