SproutReally? Care to support that with some numbers?Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:53am192.86.118.96Because IF picking up and recycling that garbage IS ACTUALLY profitable, you should EASILY be able to start a BUSINESS and make money doing it...
I have to SUSPECT that IF it WAS actually profitable to do so, SOME saavy investor WOULD have started a business doing it.
I suspect the TRUTH is that, while much of the material IS recyclable for money, the ACTUAL COST of going out and bringing it in is MORE than one would make by selling it to a recycling center.

Which nations taxpayers? Sprout, Wed Jun 13 7:01amOr do you envision some sort of international tax?
You know the answer to that ChristopherBlackwell, Wed Jun 13 8:09pmSprout, Since it is going to be our beaches it will be our taxpayers who end up paying. What is bad about is the companies that take part will make huge profits. But this is true in all disasters,... more

Thanks! kw, Mon Jun 11 5:36amI didn't expect an apology, though, and should have kept my suspicion to myself.
