I don't expect Trump to win, and I'm okay with that, really...I don't consider him presidential material in terms of character. My views on Hillary are well known (that is, a venal, warmongering wretch). Both candidates are self-absorbed to an astonishing degree...both to the point I'd not be surprised of mental health diagnoses were applicable (narcissistic personality disorder for Trump; strong borderline sociopathy for Clinton). I guess that level of self-absorption is probably commonplace in the upper levels of our political class. But I don't have to like it.

And I don't have to like this utter farce of an election.

Civil unrest on our doorstep? Could very well be. I think we're probably still to inclined to gorge on our bread and circuses...but that time may be nearing its end.
