Jeff Sessions & Russians explained in simple language

The question asked of Sessions in Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation was:

"Several of the President-Elect's nominees or senior advisers have Russian ties. Have you been in contact with anyone connected to any part of the Russian Government about the 2016 election, either before or after election day?"

Sessions answered the question as asked, without volunteering any other information, as anyone should do in a court hearing.

The dems say he lied under oath because he did not disclose other earlier routine official meetings with Russian emissaries while he was a US Senator on the Senate Armed Services Committee, which had nothing to do with the 2016 election. This is a "red herring" designed by vicious Dems to obstruct the Trump administration solely because Ol Crooked Hil lost the election and the Dems can't face reality.

Here's a good analogy:

Prosecution asks defendant: "Did you have sex with your wife on election day?" Defendant replies, "No".

Prosecution places defendant's wife on the stand and asks, "Has your husband ever had sex with you?". Defendant's wife answers, "Yes".

Prosecution to judge: "Your honor, we demand that you charge the defendant with perjury for lying about his sexual relations with his wife.".
