IMO he certainly miscalculated his nations ability to fight a two front war, especially through winter.

So, knowing that he LOST because of that miscalculation, what would he do DIFFERENTLY?

IMO he may have been a megalomaniac, but he was not STUPID. He would not have gotten as far as he did being stupid.

He made a colossal tactical and strategic blunder. But having the opportunity to re-do it, I have no doubt he would have tried something different.
