I can understand being a Deist. Kind of.

Even though there's no EVIDENCE for it, I can understand someone being a Deist -- thinking that a "god" got everything rolling at the beginning, and since then has taken a hands-off approach to his creation.

There's no evidence FOR that belief, but there's also no evidence AGAINST that belief.

There is TONS of evidence against the belief on a hands-on god. The typical "god" that most people think of when they use the word "god". One that knows what you do, knows what you think, cares who you sleep with and in what positions, hears your prayers, etc.
