clean up its act and enter the fold of humane and decent religions. However, the gap may be too large.

Also, I want to make a point as a religious Jew. I do not believe that God is imaginary and created by humans. But I do believe that God, being external to the Universe, is unknowable and indescribable, and its perception is created by humans, which is not quite the same thing.

The Rabbis did not change God, but changed the Jewish perception of God. I hope that this distinction is clear.
