There are many examples of learned behaviors being transmitted from generation to generation. Here is just one example:

Lions are NOT born to be effective hunters. Lions raised by humans and not taught to hunt frequently starve because they do not have a clue as to how it is done.

Lion cubs are taught how to hunt as cubs by the females of the pride. Without that education, they do not become effective hunters.

Human societies are thousands of times as complex as lion societies and human traditions of knowledge are thousands of times as complex as lion traditions. The effects of transmitted knowledge upon behavior are unfathomable.
