as well when they discover the crops mowed down to a nub?

One the reasons humans acquired taste and eat animal, animals
are very stingy with the fruits of our labors, leave none but what
they initially reject, and when the goody is gone they deplete that too..

I have nothing against vegans tho, too each their own.
