About 6years ago I test drove a BMW 330i with some factory performance upgrades. The dealer wanted about 40k for the car. I imagine with another 20K to spend, that car could have been a SCREAMER and would have been in a similar size/style to the Tesla.

I was thinking of the Mustangs and Camaro's because they seem to be the place to get started for the cheapest, but I figured where they would probably not need a lot under the hood to make them great track cars, they would need more suspension/ride modifications to get them turning more responsively than the quarter milers I used to play with.

I haven't had the opportunity to drive one of the newer Camaro's. The last GM sports car I drove was the 425HP last year TransAm they built. Kind of regret not buying it as they seem to be turning into rare cars these days.

I would like to see them bring some more of the Holden performance cars to the US. They make some interesting vehicles. Especially the "Utes", the modern iterations of vehicles like the Ford Ranchero.
