Although it is nice to see someone approach the legendary material in Manetho seriously, Merenptah in Ethiopian exile because Amenmesse drove him out of Egypt might just be taking speculations a bit too far. Agents of Amenmesse scratched out the names of Seti II and replaced them with his own. Seti II's agents returned the favor. Thus, Merenptah > Seti II > Amenmesse (temporary usurper) > Seti II as in conventional Egyptological thought (Kitchen, von Beckerath, Krauss, Dodson, et. al).
Amenophis, after all, was driven out of Egypt and into Ethiopian exile, by Asiatic Hyksos coming to support Egyptian outcasts according to Manetho. All of this preceded the reign of Seti II says Manetho.
Anyway, I digress. What will you do with the "sa arki/urki" Ninu'ayu limu-year?
