Why in the world would anyone want to fool someone else into thinking the mummy was that of Akhenaten--if it wasn't?
Magic bricks are not hard to come by. They are easily made.
If those bricks were not original to the burial of Akhenaten, then Occam's Razor would have them fashioned for Akhenaten there at Thebes and placed in KV55--for no other person than Akhenaten.

As to age at death--I have one word for you and that is "Spitalfields".
