I'm afraid that this will be my last post on this Forum. This Forum is not what it was when I participated on it 11-14 years ago. Yes there is clear evidence that Pinedjem was a simple HP in Year 15 and a king Pinedjem in a Year 16.

Citing an opinion that agrees with another opinion is not the way science works. Doesn't matter how many times Kitchen says something. If there is no real evidence to back up his claims its trash. Just because Pinudjem is HPA in a year 15 and king in a year 16 is in no way proof these year dates belong to the same king or to a Tanite king. This is all assumption not evidence or fact.

We can arrange the data differently and still be within the bounds of the data, i.e. year 15 belongs to king Herihor, and year 16 belongs to king Pinudjem I.

Again, HPA Menkheperre counted his own years, or he would not write "Year 48 of HPA Menkheperre." So it is quite absurd to then claim Pinudjem his father was purely a nominal king without his own years. The Banishment Stela DOES mention Menkheperre's father's name. Tell me again why it must be a year number lower than 9? I don't see any hard evidence that says he could not have been king for a long as 25+ years.

Good luck, Tory
