Hi all !
I'am almost brandnew here on your Forum and would like to introduce myself to the board on this way. My english is not in a good mood, but I hope it fits for a conversation about ancient Egypt. Probably my english will be better after a while.

Immediately I'am studying a work of Pierre Montet concerning the results of his excavations at the ancient sacral settlement of Tanis, written on the same title in 1942. My attention turns especially to the following description of the objects, found during the campaign 1939 / 1940 in the royal tombs of Tanis.

Yes, and this is my question. What does we know today about le nom de la femme and her mummy left hand side of Chechonq I. Is there anything make known about her during the last decades ? Its interesting to me. Some hints will be fine.

Kind regards to all

Ecki

I have a question concerning the thread "Khonsu Temple Genealogy : Chronological Problems". Is it possible, that his (Sheshonq I.) wife Mehetemweskhet is the daughter of Pharao Smendes I ? Ecki

Helpful page with drawing of the situation of the Tanis burials. Perhaps it can help Ecki figure out what Montet had meant. http://www.narmer.pl/groby/nrt_en.htm
