when you need it? Not because you said my name. I honestly feel like the biggest disservice many breeders do to themselves, their dogs and owners is keeping dogs past 8 weeks of age. Many don't have the time to properly socialize their adolescent dogs, they don't allow visitors which further shelters them from socialization and they house far to many dogs not allowing for a real life experience where dogs get taken on walks, go for car rides, on vacations... And then they place them in the public or with other breeders further creating a mess. This is very personal for me as I have been sent older dogs from other breeders who were train wrecks. I have also consulted with families in my area who have taken retired dogs or puppies that were older and they are left with skittish dogs and they can't trust around their kids.
