I meant to include it in my post, but was so emotional I posted before adding it... Ann was my mentor. I got my first breeding dog from her. My stunning Eva, who is out of Adoni. Anyway... my first litter was with Ann's Seeker. Ann came over to my house to be with me when I delivered my first litter. It was an exciting and long anticipated event. We gabbed like school girls while Goldie panted away. While we gabbed we had a glass of wine... or two... Well Ann did love her wine, but she was not a drinker. Thanks for letting me sleep, that bed is really comfortable. Do you make coffee?". LOL That's not quite how I had imagined the night going, but it really was comforting knowing she was in the next room, even if she was in a wine indused sleep.
