I read of cafe', parchment or lavender being 'rare' colors. What is rare is solid CHOCOLATE! Because most of our AL lines have creams, apricots, reds, whites, silvers all mixed in, the dilution genes are having a heyday and it shows.
I have always loved the dilutes, but they are not a rare color at all. Out of the chocolates I have had, only two have remained solid chocolate at two years plus. The rest are one of the 'rare' blends. :+) Thankfully, they are well liked and I always get compliments when people see them.
