critical to outcomes. If more breeders were adament about the positioning being correct, I think it would reflect better outcomes.
OFA does NOT require anesthesia but P/H does. Lots of breeders use OFA without anesthesia and get away with it. P/H also requires that ALL xrays be sent and numbered; whereas OFA allows you to take the best one to send in.
Although no hip testing is perfect, I find P/H to be more thorough on how their protocol is to be done. Plus, I prefer a mathematical calculation over an opinion.
