How about a report on your activities, etc...

My life here is pretty much the same. Get up every day and talk on the ham radio for an hour or so. Then, decide where I'll be having lunch that day. Got a few restaurants nearby that I like to frequent.

In the summer, it's probably time to mow the lawn. We've got a seasonal holding pond out front of the house. Dry from August to November and fills up around December or so... the Mallard ducks come in and one or two hens will raise their baby's here. I feed them up to 250 pounds of grain to keep them around and get the babies well fattened for their future life...

I've had to chase away Bald Eagles that think "my" babies are there for their next meal... I did lose one baby last season. Momma duck took 10 chicks back into the woods but only 9 returned to the pond. Also, another Momma duck lost one of her chicks to a drake that pecked it to death... drakes are a real menace to baby ducks..
