Tacoma
Cheek pad or ? used to raise stock height

Anyone here using a "cheek pad," or something similar, to raise the "comb" of the stock for better sighting with a scope?

With the extra height of see-thru scope mounts, and a Weaver 74 base, I am having to raise my head compeletely off the stock in order to see through the scope. Not good.

This happens even without the see-thru mounts.

I'm looking for something to attach to the stock to raise the comb height. Cabelas has some options but I'm wondering what other 24 folks use.

Someone said there is a company called Tacoma that makes one?

Hey Kelly...you still livin' up under the blue hole? If so, we should do a cup o' joe sometime and talk 24's...or not.

I have a red dot sight on top of the Weaver 74 base and I have to hold my head entirely up off the stock to see the reticle dot. With see-thru mounts it would be even higher.
