I looked at that set on Gunbroker (20 x 30-30 & 20 x 223)and quit looking when it got to $560. saw 3 410 x 22 this weekend at a gunshow and just laughed at the prices. 1 guy wanted $500 for a "WW II" survival gun issued to our pilots $500 + in poor condition, One had a totaled stock and he wanted $400+ and I can't even remember the last one. I saw one a few months back though for $450 I was kicking myself for not having the money. It was a 20 x 222 that was in excellent shape, barrels were gorgeous, and I had just bought a motorcycle (CRAP!) You are right... these aren't all collecter pieces... some are junk and should be priced that way...not hardly worth anything even for the parts. But then there are those rare birds! Tyey keep us hoping and to be honest, I don't mind paying top dollar for. But I know the difference... and mostly from listening to everyone here.
