You & I are thinking alike on this. I have just refurbed mine [24c I believe .22LR over 20GA] and added a flashlight mount with a 9 led light, a 7 segment 150 foot 550 paracord sling & a sleeve with 5 shot shells & 10 .22 rounds on it. When it comes to air rifles I do recommend either a "pump" action [variable psi] spring piston or a new nitrogen fired piston. The precharged ones that you have to use a large air supply or psi to fire it may be too loud & getting the air supply may come very hard to come by in the event of a disaster ect.
