I listened to a podcast the other day via London School of Economics where the guest primarily discussed the perils of misinformation through social media. False information tends to travel faster and wider than factual information. On the other hand, big tech companies are now trying to develop algorithms to filter out false information and label it as such...that's equally scary to me. At the end of the day, what you choose to believe is a personal choice. I'm willing to live with the consequences.
