I did my pa over a year ago- I have not had any lump. The opening around the ring will feel a little hard as it heals. I started with a 12g 3/4 in captive bead ring- I now wear a 2g.3/4 in captive bead ring. As your piercing heals, you can begin to use thicker guage rings. The thicker guage rings I have found to be more comfortable. It takes a while though. Don't stretch more than a guage at a time. Wear each guage for a couple of months and as you get to the thicker guages- like from a 6 on down- wear each one for about 3-4 months before graduating to the next size. I have found that my shaft skin now covers over my glans and the ring, and keeps it nicely protected. I was circumcised as a baby, but I had some extra skin I guess and I still have my frenulum. You may want to check with your piercer about the lump you mentioned, it is probably very common- just not my experience. By the way- the thicker guage rings look and feel great- and when I jerk off- it feels really good. I am a bottom- don't care too much for ...ing, but some friends of mine say they really like the feel of it when they do.

I've recently had a Prince Albert piercing done. Apart from being a bit sore I've developed a bit of lump between where the ring enters the Urethra and the piercing hole. Is this normal?

I had a 1.6mm PA a year ago and have now progressed to an 8mm ring, much better as you can feel the weight. I have the same lump so don't worry
