Thanks Kathy. I wrote it with tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek, and had fun doing so. I got in the car to go to Walmarts when the first two lines suddenly hit me: weeping, weeping, her tears are seeping..." and I didn't really want to write a sad poem. So I just played with it and let it flow. Then, after re-reading it I saw it could indeed be a sad poem about losing one's pet. Guess I just can't win. Thank you for reading and comenting.
