The only Macisaac I know of in ottawa was Lawrence Macisaac, my 5th cousin... he was born in Inverness and has since moved back. Did you know that a branch of the MacIsaacs emigrated from Cape Breton to New Zealand in the early 1800's? I'm in touch with a distant cousin there, Karen MacIsaac. Can you imagine that trip! It seems impossible.
