Rod, Thanks for the info. I have an old copy of Fr. Charles's book. I will get it out tonight and check it out.Was there a family of thieves living across the loch in the 1840's? My elderly Aunt recalls her grandfather saying that there were and they ran an inn or "drinking hole" as well. She also said that they were Campbells. These were the people that my family were fighting with apparantly. Her grandfather was Michael(son of Roderick) who was 11 when the family emigrated.
