Lachlin(?) MacDonald

Hello Ray
Your note has set off some major bells. I'll take a look see if there's anything. of the top of my head and probably with a few errors: My gg grandfather was Angus Mor MacDonald of Antigonish. He was married to Margaret MacIsaac of BCB CB. She was the daughter of Janet (Jessie) (Lewis) Loddy MacDonald. Angus Mor married into the Loddy MacDonald family of Morar. My gX5grandfather was Ludyvick (Lewis) Loddy MacDonald of Suinsleter (bad spelling) South Morar who came over on the Jane in 1791 with his wife Mary Grant. These were Rhetland MacDonalds, descended from Allan Roy VII Lord of Morar. .

Back to Angus Mor, he was the son of Lachlin (Ian Maceoghain) and Anne MadDougall. Lachlin was the son of John MacDonald of Moidart and (xyz) MacNeil. John was the son of Hugh MacDonald of Moidart. I believe the Dunkeld figures in here as well.

Gotta go, sorry to have blurted out so much at you and in such haste but I think there's a good chance there's some connection. . I'll be in touch when I'm more organized1
