Eigg Mountain
Fri Apr 9, 2010 05:52

I have since discovered that the MacIsaac family I am researching lived at Rear Arisaig / Eigg Mountain in Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. Lauchlin Mor MacIsaac was the first of the family to settled there (with his wife, Mary Catherine MacDonald and family). They came from Eigg. Catherine's father was apparently named Donald (tailor) MacDonald, and had been a tailor to the army? This is all listed in Reverend Rankin's book about the History of Antigonish. Any help or contacts is/are appreciated! Thanks!
