The Gryphon
I'm back to pre-historic times.....

My local Library is still in the process of moving to the newly-built site, and the doors won't be open for another couple of weeks. One can still request books (by phone or online) and pick them up on Wednesdays (between 9 and Noon) at the old library building, but, until the new doors are open, there's no browsing among the shelves.....

That's OK. I've lots of books here at home that can use a re-read, and some used paperbacks I found at the Thrift Store recently - some I've never before read.

One I have read, but a very long time ago: "Clan Of The Cave Bear" by Jean Auel. Thought I could give it a re-read. It hasn't been that long since I read books by the Gears (Kathleen & Michael) that cover early Native Americans (coming over the land bridge from Siberia in the Ice Ages). This book by Auel is about Neanderthal and Cro Magnon, likely around the same time frame....

The movie made from this book was barely tolerable as I remember. They changed things from the book, but what Hollywood production doesn't?
