Volunteer Ops: Spawning bed placement
Tue Jul 11, 2017 5:18pm

Hello Friends and Volunteers,
As part of our ongoing restoration activities in Tod Watershed, we are doing some work on one of its tributaries, Ward Creek, and need some volunteers to help out. Ward Creek flows west into Tod Creek, just north of Tod Creek Flats. (map of Tod Watershed).
We will be having some workparties next week and need volunteers to help us move gravel and rock by hand and wheelbarrow. We'll build a rock crest structure in the creek, and add gravel for salmon spawning habitat. We'll meet at a location close to the Flats.
We have set some TENTATIVE workparty time slots. If you'd like to help out, **Please RSVP and tell us which time slot(s) you can attend. From the response we will determine which 3 or 4 time slots are the most popular and go with those ones.
TENTATIVE workparty time slots:
Monday 17th - 9:30am-noon
Monday 17th - 2-4pm
Monday 17th - 6-8pm
Tuesday 18th - 9:30am-noon
Tuesday 18th - 2-4pm
Wednesday 19th - 9:30am-noon
Wednesday 19th - 6-8pm

Thanks so much, we hope to hear from you soon~!
