Read it all but here is highlight piece of concern:

In announcing the plan, Premier John Horgan left the door open to increasing fish farm production in B.C. waters under the right conditions, which was echoed by federal Fisheries Minister Jonathan Wilkinson.

“We want to know as investors and shareholders that there is certainty in a province, in a country, in a community, to do business,” said Horgan.

The agreement requires that fish farmers put more production in the water only with the agreement of Indigenous communities, he said.

“Companies that want to grow now have a path forward because of the work that has been done by the people in this room today, and those that have worked so tirelessly to find reconciliation on a very contentious issue over many decades,” he said.

“The companies are here to stay. Indigenous communities are prepared to work with them to find a path forward. So we are celebrating that path today.”
