I'm not familiar with Axis Power Hetalia, but I have read the Bartimeus Trilogy, and I can't actually find anything about this that requires sporking. In fact, it's actually pretty good.
It's possible, however, that somebody familiar with Hetalia will find major problems with it, but I can't actually find anything all that wrong with it.
