I think that is definitely the correct thing to do.

Also you should make every line of dialogue a line from one of the songs in Disney's version.

      I can tell you that djinn are not mentioned in any of the Torah's books. Maybe they are mentioned in the haftarah, but I don't think so. However, they are mentioned in the Qur'an, though I'm not sure ... more

      I'm not quite sure where my sister got her copy of the Qur'an (some religious studies class, I think), but I've seen English/Arabic language versions at Barnes and Noble.
