I can tell you that djinn are not mentioned in any of the Torah's books. Maybe they are mentioned in the haftarah, but I don't think so.

However, they are mentioned in the Qur'an, though I'm not sure how much. Actually, there is an entire website devoted to the concept of djinn in muslin culture here. It looks good to me, but you should probably confirm your information before taking it as fact. Still, it looks like a good place to start.

    • I'm not quite sure where my sister got her copy of the Qur'an (some religious studies class, I think), but I've seen English/Arabic language versions at Barnes and Noble.
