Hi Cal,

You are describing the Lyons lodge built in 1899 exactly where you describe it to be, and the photo in the link is the lodge.

The adobe in my picture is located near Cliff and was called the Gila Farm Hacienda. It was the HQ for the LCs. The lodge was built to support entertainment for visitors and vacationing for the Lyons family. There are pictures of it in the book, "Triumph and Tragedy". According to the book the building was built by Robert Black and originally was his home on a 160 acre homestead. There are no halls in it and it is built as you describe except there was never a wall on the north side of it. It was built after the era of Apache attacks.

You and you bride stayed at the lodge? Wow! Can you give an approximate date?
