Pat and Martha, I'm blushing from the kind words you both have written. I'm glad I was able to help. My knowledge is quite limited on resources and information on lots of topics, but I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to learn about some resources in the twin territories where I've lived and done research.

Martha, you and I have "corresponded" one other time on another forum, where you had kind words for my husband's book.

      I can't remember his name off hand, but he was appointed by George Curry. Pat Garrett had been hoping for the appointment. Maybe referenced in Metz or Kelleher.

                  Curry was not convicted, but should have been convicted. Ask Pat Garrett; Pat also was trashed by Curry and Roosevelt and other outlaws accused but not convicted .... Only in the old Western movies... more
