I woke up yesterday morning to discover that my email had been hacked into and that messages of all sort were being sent using my email address. I THINK I have the problem corrected. Several people that I know have had the same thing happen to them, so its not that uncommon. I don't know what I could have done to prevent it (I have spyware and antivirus protection that's supposed to catch such things), but I apologize nonetheless.
SUGGESTIONS: When not using email, LOG OFF. Have a second email address to which you can export the first email list frequently, a backup. Microsoft has the BEST antivirus system available, free to... more
Also be very careful what links you click on and what you "agree" to. Many "updates" are nothing but spam and some can contain unwanted tools to gain information from your computer. Never allow... more
