I'm always ready for a good laugh! Here's hoping Tom's noggin is as smooth as a cue ball. Bald or not, I fear Cruise will be as convincing underneath a cowboy hat as he was as a vampire. His bizarre appearance in "Interview With The Vampire" made him look like a refugee from the "Puffy Shirt" espisode of Seinfeld. My advice, he should wear the shades from "Risky Business" and shave his head.
Yul Brynner's casting in "The Magnificent Seven" is puzzling. In "Seven Samurai", the leader shaves his head to impersonate a monk and make it easier for him to rescue a kidnapped child. There's no reason why that part should be played by a bald actor in the American remake - but there's Yul Brynner. Did the bald samurai to some extent influence the casting of a bald gunfighter in the Western remake, although there was really no reason for it? Something subconscious, perhaps?
What's really weird is seeing Yul Brynner in one of his earlier movies where he has a full head of hair(or a wig)!
whatever.... I just can't see a remake of MAGNIFICENT SEVEN.... Even the TV series was kinda funky to me.... Guess I'm not old fashioned, just OLD! LOL Did you attend Winter Range this year? I miss... more
