I took a look through my files, and I didn't see any mention of a Kirby Weems in Parker's memoirs. If Mr. Weems is from the Tularosa Basin, Otero County, or Sacramento Mountains, you can try calling the Tularosa Basin Historical Society/Alamogordo Museum of History at 575-434-4438 to see if they have either any files, photos, or oral histories that might mention Mr. Weems. (I'm not sure of their email, but it might be tbhs@zianet.com)
