David, I think that you will enjoy Randy's work. I have had the E version for about a year and it is extremily well done. The Hardback will be fully footnoted etc. ( a difficulty with the E version). With a hard copy of that AND Mr Silva's book I will be a very happy camper! Please give my love to Mary!
I've been informed, and am passing the information on to all of you, of the simultaneous publication of two books by Westernlore Press in Tucson, Arizona. The books will be available sometime around... more
Success is different things to different people. I never, in my book, said that Bill Brosius was more successful than Earp...although I could see how people could see it that way. Bill was always... more
He died in 1909. As far as evidence, you have to look at all the evidence - in its entirety. The new information in the Westernlore book adds more evidence. Forest, trees, then the leaves.
I suppose being the best rustler one can be would make Ma Barker proud, but I will be interested to see what criteria are found in the book. Wyatt ended up without a pot of money, without a marshal's ... more

As I recall the book itself had the author saying, about the Marine who taught him how to shoot, "my pseudo big brother went on to infamously enter history books as the Texas Tower Sniper." I'm... more

that Leon Metz book "Border:..." is another great one on the topic and one I hope I am eventually able to get to. Lee's book is definitely a great place to start for anyone interested in the subject, ... more
I got a bit ahead of myself there, LOL. But I expect that the new book is based on much of the similar information as Invisible Empire. I look forward to both books. Leah
they, in my opinion, may imply that Curly Bill lived and prospered. I don't know about you but I'm intrigued! Many say that CB left Tombstone and was not killed by WE. These books just might provide... more
there is something new here too and not just the same old lame unbelievable worn out arguments that never seem to have any substance. My Best to You and Bev! David
