Mon Jul 30, 2018 21:27

May 1880
Andre Christol, the great wrestler, although in camp only a short time, made a great reputation by trying to clean out State Street one Sunday afternoon, and although he was Hercules in strength he failed on this self-appointed task; however, it took the united efforts of six policemen, a team of horses, and an express wagon to land him in the bastille at the foot of Pine Street.

Andre Christol drunk and disorderly, twenty dollars; paid.
