Gary, those were the good old days....

hard for me to believe that it was over 21 years ago when you and I first made the trek to Fly's Cabin and later Galeyville.

Brooks White was very protective of Galeyville, and rightfully so, he knew many of its secrets and history for sure. I remember him saying that the green stretch of vegetation/trees basically followed Turkey Creek and that is where many of the saloons, etc. were located. The video you showed was from , what I call, upper Galeyville. That is where the restaurant was (remember the broken dishes and 1880s tin cans in the trash dump up there). If memory serves me,I believe Brooks said that was also where the small hotel was too. So, I think there was a upper and lower Galeyville. Lower was along the banks of Turkey Creek and that's where the "cowboys" reportedly hung out. John Galey and the "respectable" people were in upper Galeyville. Feel free to correct me if my memories and thoughts are off a little Gary. Take care.
