"Texas, by God"
and the
Morgan was there for all of that and much more.

Peoria was like kindergarten in comparison. And after Jim Anderson was convicted on a felony and sent up on a two-year sentence, Earp stepped up to the plate to help Liddie Anderson run the joint for several months.
Not to be confused about 3rd and Almond, directly across the street from Anderson's was Barney Weitcamp's "disreputable dance house" which was a mirror image joint on the Northwest corner. Some of the girls were known to switch from one to the other establishment, just having to move their trunks across the street. Each joint normally had three bartenders as well. Two shootings transpired in each place while Morg was on hand - bartenders burning powder against customers.
Yes, Peoria was like kindergarten.
